This was the Bible verse in m prayer journal for today. It is something that I started a while back but have often been lax in doing daily. However, I ant to start doing it again..

I bought my prayer journal at Walmart. Since I have had it for a while, I do not exactly remember how much I paid for it. My prayer journal has greatly helped me when I start to feel overwhelmed. And lets face it, with Christmas only days away, it is easy to get overwhelmed.

Financially, my family is struggling. My husband has a job but, it isn’t what you would call reliable. He has steadily been applying at other places though. And while there would be others out there saying that I need to work, I get it. Really, I do. But, currently, my blog is my job. It takes a lot of work to come up with content to publish as well as topics to talk about.

Then, there are what seem to be the fifteen million blog groups that I am in just to drive traffic to my blog. So it can be hit or miss. My goal is to get more subscribers so that my blog will continue to grow and earn me more than $.30 (Though in all fairness, this was for the month of November where I literally only had one blog post). I have joined I don’t know how many affiliate programs. All I want is for my blog to actually make me money. So when I opened my prayer journal and saw that prayer, it was a sign that I just need to give it all to God and not worry.

So, do you ever feel overwhelmed? What are your tips and tricks for becoming less stressed.

    I like to meditate before I start my way and I feel it helps me tremedously to get through my day and handle curve balls life sends sometimes whew

    1. I have tried meditating but with three girls around, it is sometimes really hard even with headphones in.

    Oh gosh! This was me at the beginning of last year. My husband lost his job and I was a SAHM so I had to start working (luckily from home) but it has taken us 18 months to finally feel like our heads are above water.
    Blogging takes time, just keep at it. Put yourself out there, build an audience, the rest will come.
    Groups are really great for a boost but you really want those regular readers who keep coming back without “having” to.
    And a lot of prayer!!!!! You will come out the other side I promise.

    I also used to have a prayer journal but then kind of slack and haven’t continued.
    It was just recently that I’m into making bullet journals again.
    Thank you for reminding me how important it is to keep a prayer journal.

    I also have a book entitled “Coffee Break with God”.
    Every time you feel stressed and you just want a break from it all, you may want to read a few pages. 🙂

    Goals are great to have and hang in there! New year is coming and have faith. Meditating is great way to relax.
