Life is full of all kinds of choices. Here of late, I have been praying before making decisions that will impact not only my life but also that of my children and my husband. I also consult my husband and get his opinion on things before doing them.
Recently, my husband and I decided to once again to home school our children again. This was not made lightly. This was something that we both prayed very diligently about. We made this decision mainly because we are getting ready to move and we didn’t want to put the girls in one school and have to make them change after a couple of weeks. It is possible that we will put them in public school once we move to our new place.
The other reason why we decided to home school is due to our daughter Emily having some severe behavioral outbursts. My fear is sending her to public school and her harming another child. Because I know that once that happened, it will follow her all through her school career. And that is one thing that I do not want to happen.
Faith wise, I have been walking a little closer with God. I still have my days where I am troubled by worries and doubts but, that is human nature. To combat this, I have been trying to diligently write in my prayer journal that I have. Now I will admit that there have been days where I didn’t do it but, I do try to do it every day.
I recently took a big leap of faith and volunteered to be the Supper Coordinator for my church for Wednesday night suppers. I have to admit that at first, I was worried that I had it off more than what I could chew so to speak. I have since learned that in all reality, I haven’t and that it is okay to ask for help when I need it.
I know that I can accomplish this new task because I have not only an awesome husband and kids, but I also have a really great church family as well.
The other thing that I am trying to do is post more blog posts. I would like for my blog to generate an income for me and in all reality, the only way that will happen is if I start blogging more.
I am thinking about doing a couple of post on certain days of the week so that I can generate more page views and hopefully, more subscribers. I have it set up to where currently, I type up the posts and then when I am near free wi-fi, I just publish the posts. I am aiming for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays for posting my blog posts.
This means that I will be typing up several posts on. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. My goal is to publish at least three posts each day which will mean that I will need to write a total of nine posts on the days that I am scheduling to write.Tags: blogging, changes, choices, faith, homeschooling, moving, writing
