Have you ever been frustrated or angry? I find myself constantly getting frustrated and angry when things do not go the way I want them to. A while back, my husband bought me a book called The Bible Promise Book for Women: Prayer and Praise Edition.
Today, I started reading the section on anger. I have been so frustrated with everything that has been going on the last couple of weeks that it has started to become a problem. I try to be slow to anger but sometimes, it seems as if that anger button gets repeatedly pushed.
Between praying and asking God for a sign as far as where we should go from where we are at, to the kids constantly fighting and not listening, my husband’s snoring at night, to our friend that we are staying with; it seems as if something is bugging me every single day.
So, there are times when I write in my daily prayer journal more than once. I think that the most that I have ever written in it at one time is three times. I was really frustrated that day. Instead, I am trying to pray more and more. I find that I feel so much better after praying and reading in my bible. Sometimes, when I am really frustrated, I just lean back, close my eyes, and take a nap. There is nothing more refreshing besides reading the Bible than taking a nap.
